Welcome to Doolin Hostel

We have just completed extensive renovations to Doolin Hostel and will have a new website to reflect our new look and ethos on the way. Established in Doolin for 30 years, and operated by the Moloney family, Doolin Hostel is now operated by son Anthony along with his wife Deirdre and kids Emily and Isabelle. Returning home after 15 years experience in a variety of management positions both in Ireland and internationally in a variety of hospitality establishments and hotels.

Our goal is to establish a premium hostelling experience, using our years of experience to deliver a comfortable high quality product with friendly professional service. We have enhanced the hostel by enlarging the rooms with new dormer windows which give a great view overlooking the village, the country side and out to sea. We have converted rooms into double, twin, and family rooms ensuite, with some deluxe rooms having all the conveniences of a hotel room.

We have refreshed the hostel inside and out and are adding a coffee shop with fresh baked scones, and barista coffee to start your day, a deli and convenience store to meet your needs, with simple freshly prepared meals for the weary traveller. We are improving the drying room for those who enjoy the many great outdoor activities Doolin has to offer, from Surfing, Caving, Bouldering to Hiking along the Cliffs of Moher trail. We look forward to meeting you and having a chat.
